Even with an optimal diet and exercise regimen, gaining healthy weight in the form of lean muscle tissue can take quite a long time, so if this is a personal goal for you please be patient!
I’ll be glad when the month is out and I can focus on upping my calorie intake (via the inclusion of cooked, calorically dense foods like ancient grains, beans, lentils, nut butters, etc.) and increasing the intensity of my workouts; aiming to get ripped and possibly even compete in a few fitness events this year, because… Well, why not?
