Looks can be deceiving, this dessert is both super delicious and really good for your body. | Chia Seed Pudding : 2 - 3 tbsp chia seeds, 1 c milk alternative (rice, oat and almond are my favorite), optional: cinnamon and / or organic sweetener of choice. Combine ingredients and refrigerate for at least an hour. | Mango Topping: 1/4 c thawed frozen mango mashed with cinnamon.
Molasses, cinnamon, oats, garbanzo bean flour, fava bean flour, tapioca starch, summer fruit (local apples and pluots I preserved last year), flax, coconut sugar, coconut oil and some other stuff I’m forgetting right now.
Today’s breakfast was inspired by those “whack & unwrap” chocolate oranges I was so fond of as a kid: farina cooked with coconut sugar, cacao powder and 3 Citrus Marmalade. Topped with more marmalade, almond milk and shaved chocolate.
Decimated my legs in the gym today so I’ve earned every bit of this MASSIVE bowl of food: 24oz homemade chili + 2 whole zucchini squash and 1 cup of broccoli steamed, topped with diced red onion, cilantro, salsa, @daiyafoods cheddar shreds and smashed organic corn chips. Followed by baked apples for dessert. Gotta eat to grow! :)
